Ever since I was little, I’ve wanted my own business. At 7 years old I was selling little art works to family members making a couple dollars. At 8 years old I started making bird houses and only sold 3 which was still an achievement in my eyes. At 10 I was busking, earning a little bit of money playing the electric keyboard once a week. When I turned 13, I got into jewellery making and wanted to turn it into a business and while I was unsuccessful, I learned how to make a website and some basics. For the next 3 years, I did business studies and commerce in school where I learned the basics of business and how to grow a business.

In year 8 I decided to do photography as an elective and didn’t think too much of it. I learned the basics on how to work a digital camera, lighting and all the little things included. I spent the next 2 years after that year using my phone practicing and improving my composition skills. Now I'm 17 and out of school, in 2025 I decided to borrow a camera intending to use it to photograph Lego minifigures for a business reselling them for a little profit. After a couple months I made a little bit of profit but not enough to live off so I ended up focusing on my hobby doing photography and as I was a high school drop out looking for a job, I had a lot of time to kill so I bought my own camera and spent hours working on growing my skills. After 6 months with my camera and 4 years of doing photography, I decided it was what I wanted to do for a business. I spent 2 months working out what I wanted to do and decided on portrait photography. Soon after I found it wasn’t my thing, and I got the opportunity to work with scenic world getting some scenery shots in the mist. I found what I wanted to do and built this business. At 17 I now own a commercial tourism photography business with the goal of working with large tourism destinations showing their locations and experiences.

I invested $6,000 into camera equipment that will enable clients to print images the size of small billboards. In the future my goal is turn this business into a company, having multiple locations providing professional photography, videography, and drone services to Australia's largest tourism organisations.
