Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all photography and videography services provided by Blue Mountains Media (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking or using our services, you (“the client”) agree to the following terms.
Blue Mountains Media provides photography and videography services for couples, engagements, newlywed sessions, lifestyle shoots, and related creative media projects. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
A booking is considered confirmed once both parties have agreed to the booking details and any required deposit or payment arrangements have been made. Blue Mountains Media reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings where necessary.
Invoices issued by Blue Mountains Media must be paid within fourteen (14) days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to pay within this period may result in delayed delivery of final content, cancellation of future bookings, additional fees, or recovery action where required.
Final edited photographs and videos will only be delivered once full payment has been received.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate booking information, including locations, times, access permissions, and any relevant requirements for the session. Delays caused by the client may reduce available shooting time.
Blue Mountains Media retains full creative control over all photography and videography produced. Editing styles, colour grading, framing, composition, and artistic decisions are determined solely by Blue Mountains Media.
Raw or unedited photographs, video clips, project files, or source files are not included in any service and will not be provided unless explicitly agreed in writing prior to the booking.
Clients may not edit, alter, apply filters to, manipulate, heavily crop, or otherwise modify photographs or videos created by Blue Mountains Media without written permission. This includes screenshots, AI alterations, social media filters, or re-editing by third parties. Doing so may damage the integrity of the work and brand representation.
All photographs and videos remain the intellectual property and copyright of Blue Mountains Media unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients receive a personal-use licence to use and share delivered media for non-commercial purposes unless separate commercial usage rights are granted.
Blue Mountains Media may use selected photographs or videos for portfolio display, website galleries, social media, advertising, promotional material, or competitions unless the client requests privacy in writing before the session date.
While every reasonable effort is made to capture and preserve all content, Blue Mountains Media is not liable for circumstances outside of our control including but not limited to severe weather, accidents, venue restrictions, equipment malfunction, illness, acts of nature, third-party interference, or unforeseen events that may impact the session or delivery.
In the unlikely event that files are lost, damaged, corrupted, or cannot be delivered due to technical failure or circumstances beyond reasonable control, liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the affected service.
Blue Mountains Media is not responsible for dissatisfaction resulting from personal appearance, weather conditions, location conditions, missed moments outside reasonable control, or failure of participants to cooperate during the session.
Delivery timeframes for edited content may vary depending on workload, project size, and season. Estimated delivery dates are provided as guides only.
Clients are responsible for backing up delivered photographs and videos once received. Blue Mountains Media is not obligated to permanently store client files after delivery.
Any abusive, threatening, unsafe, illegal, or inappropriate behaviour towards Blue Mountains Media may result in immediate termination of services without refund.
These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be published on the website.
